How is Income Tax calculated in Pakistan for FY 2024-2025 & 2025-2026?
Under the latest Pakistan FBR Finance Act, annual salaried income up to PKR 600,000 (PKR 50,000/month) is 100% tax-free. Higher salary brackets are taxed progressively at 5%, 15%, 25%, 30%, and 35% on incremental amounts, plus a 10% surcharge for annual taxable income exceeding PKR 10 Million.
